I was shocked to find out Canada's Top Marathoner, Danny Kassap suffered a heart attack in last weeks Berlin Marathon when he collapsed during the race. Danny won the 2004 Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon with a time of 2 hours, 14 minutes, 15 seconds in his debut marathon, and is well known in the Toronto running community. Get well soon Danny, you are an inspiration to many.

Oh wow...yes...get well.
Danny Kassap is in my prayers. Geez, if I ran a marathon in 2 hours and 14 minutes I would be awarded a marble tombstone.
A heart attack? Wow... That is really shocking. I hope he gets better soon...
Wow! That's intense. He works for the High Park Running Room. He's like barely older than I am from what I recall.
Well maybe that's exaggerating, but he's really young. I think there's something to be said for that, there is a limit to the human body...
I hope he gets well.
Wow, thank goodness he survived! All these professional runner heart problems are scary :(
