Weekend Update

Well, I'm still sick, but I'm slowly getting better, so Hubs and I went to the gym today to have a little workout, and it felt so good to get moving again.

30 minutes on the recumbnant bike
2.1 miles on the treadmill
40 lunges
40 situps
20 bicep curls
20 shoulder presses
20 triceps curls


long hot tub, shower and sauna

Mexican food

And I'm done like dinner.

My voice is still gone, I hope its back by Monday or I'll won't be able to teach again. Anyone know any remedies. Well that about it for me, hope you are all having a great weekend. Thanks for reading!

I am a Dr, but I don't have much to add other than the basics. Salt water gargle/rinse is what I recommend and taking an (NSAID) such as Ibuprofen or Naproxene 2-3 times a day. That will help get rid of it quicker. That fact that you were able to workout tells me you are doing better.

Glad you are feeling a bit better. AS much as I can't stand doing it, the salt and hot water gargle always seems to help.

The sauna followed by a steam room should have helped some on your voice.

hope you are feeling better! great job getting in a little workout even while you feel down. sometimes a little sweat can really help you feel better.
