Feedback Please!

Vava mentioned that he gets wierd popup banners when he visits my site. Does anyone else get this when you visit my site. I want to get rid of this ASAP! Does anyone have any tips? Thanks and have a great weekend. (I'm working on my Vermont marathon race report)

  1. Nope, never seen them, but i'll be curious what feedback you get. I had a blogger tell me that only my site made his browser close. good luck!

I read it in google reader, but when I go to your actual blog address I did get a pop-up.

  11. It doesn't happen when I view on my phone. So you're good on one platform!

  12. Ok, it does crash when I try in HTML.

Is the poll you have on the top banner made by blogger? If it's by someone else that may be the cause - the poll maker may have embedded pop ups in the poll code. Deleting it may help.

  13. Your little site meter at the bottom is a likely culprit too - if you switch this out for google analytics I know for a fact that doesn't have pop ups.

  14. I deleted the poll, let me know if that helps. I tried to go to the blogger "help" center, but it seems like a disorganized mess!

  20. Nope, I haven't had a popup banners problem when visiting your site...I do have Norton, which has a pretty strong popup stopper.
