WOW!! Thank you for posting that. The smile at 2:40 made my eyes tear up and the arms waving in excitement at the finish...AMAZING!!
I once watched a documentary about a man who races and pushes his wife who was a runner prior to being paralyzed. He pushed her in the Boston Marathon.
Amazing the power of love and God.
Your Truly Truly made my day..
FYI a less amazing post on my Blog today but it is a Giveaway :)
I've seen their story on one of the televised Ironmans... and while I've seen it already, it was still gave me my much-needed cry today :) There are so many incredible athletes out there... during my tri on Sunday, there was a guy that came out of the water with a wetsuit on, getting back into transition using crutches as he only had one leg. How can you not be inspired seeing the determination and strength of these people! Thanks for sharing that!
I saw this yesterday too. I had been questioning if I could make a cutoff for a 70.3 I'm doing, and I saw this video and realized that there was so much more to see. The love the father has for his son and the strength they both have through it all. Amazing. Thanks for posting it!
soo cool. def tearing up over here :) ol' pops was booking it at the end too! i can't imagine doing an ironman alone, let alone with the added responsibility! love it love it.
