After running 46k (28.75 miles) this weekend, I woke up this morning HUNGRY! I have the day off due to an appointment later today, so Hubs and I went out for breakfast.
Here is what I ordered.
-Two HUGE Pancakes
-Scrambled eggs
-Turkey bacon
-Coffee
-Rye toast and jam
I ate (inhaled) the whole breakfast and I will likely be hungry in an hour or two. LOL! I have been trying to eat healthy, and for the most part sucessfully, but sometimes I just get insatiable urges to eat whatever I am craving. Today it was a full breakfast, last night it was salt and pepper chips and cadbury mini eggs. I need to get back on my eating clean wagon, fast!!
Have a great day and thanks for reading!

omg i eat more than elliot now which is a FEAT!!!!! sometimes i get self-conscious about it and then i remember that that is STUPID, hahah. eat when you're hungry. i also like thinking of it as "fueling" and "refueling" sometimes that's the best part of working so hard, eating exactly what you want! bfast looks yummy!!
That breakfast looks delish!
And, me stuck at work with nary a pancake in sight...
that's a lot of miles in a weekend! you earned that breakfast. i love a big breakfast; actually, i like having breakfast for dinner sometimes too. yum!
Honestly, if you can't eat like that once in a while, why run?? LOL
WOW that looks AWESOME! It has been a long time since I had a big breakfast like that.
mmm i love breakfast! especially getting to eat whatever you want after a good long run!!
That breakfast looks GOOD! Man, I don't even run that much and my appetite is that insane. At least you're burning most of those calories off. I sure as hell ain't.
You worked for that nice breakfast! Hope yo uenjoyed it.
geesh.. you deserve it after 28 miles. Go girl.
that looks oh so yummy!!! and you totally earned it :)
lol, breakfast looked delicious, and although i'm not racking up your mileage, i know what you mean by hunger. :) enjoy your day off.
i LOVE cadbury mini eggs. good call.
Obviously I need to run more miles so I can eat like that LOL.
That looks SO good. Don't sweat it, you definitely earned it!
Umm...cadbury mini eggs. LOVE them. I think with all those miles - a few pounds of pancakes does the body good. :) ARe you able to come over and chat this week? I sent in my registration form for JIM so I hope you did! :)
That's one great meal to be sure! Your mileage requires fuel, and I guess this is your body's way of saying "fill'er up!"
Cool post!
a well deserved breakfast. gotta replenish your carb stores, right?
Ooh, that looks delish and very similar to what I had after my 10 mile race. I don't know what others would say, but I say...Eat away, you've earned it!
This weekend after my 18 miler we ate salt and vinegar chip, tomato pie (pizza with no cheese), a bread stuffed with sausage cheese and peppers, and chocolate chip cookies. Oh, and a bottle of pinot noir.
Then we woke up and had blueberry 7 grain pancakes and potatoes!
It was a great weekend :)
I can eat breakfast food in mass quantities like it's going out of style. Excellent call!
Girl, I like to think that's what the running's for :)
I've been scarfing down everything in sight the past few days.
At least it was turkey bacon! Ha!
You deserved it!
You deserve to binge a little after your 28.75 miles! Good job on that!
I doubt you can eat enough to keep up with your mileage! Hey, if you eat clean most of the time, the occasional treat is necessary, right?
That's the main reason I run...so I can eat like that!! Hope you enjoyed it. BTW, s&p chips and cadbury eggs sound like a divine combination.
You deserve to eat all that and then some after that long long run!! :-)
Btw, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I can eat it for all 3 meals. :-)

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!
Mike
